I recently read an extremely troubling article recounting interference by the Obama Administration in Nigeria. It reported:
When the notorious Islamic terrorist group, Boko Haram, kidnapped 278 school girls from the town of Chibok in northeastern Nigeria last year, Michelle Obama began a Twitter hashtag campaign, #BringBackOurGirls. But behind the scenes, the Obama administration was undermining Nigeria’s efforts to take the battle to the terrorists. Obama refused to sell Nigeria arms and supplies critical to the fight, and stepped in to block other Western allies from doing so. The administration also denied Nigeria intelligence on Boko Haram from drones operating in the area. While Boko Haram was kidnapping school girls, the U.S. cut petroleum purchases from Nigeria to zero, plunging the nation’s economy into turmoil and raising concerns about its ability to fund its battle against the terrorists.
The author suggests Obama’s motivation for these actions as follows:
A well-placed Nigerian interviewed for this report who asked to remain unidentified says that influential Nigerians within and outside the government believe Obama deliberately undermined the war effort and sabotaged the Nigerian economy to make President Jonathan appear weak and ineffectual, and thus bolster the electoral prospects for AKPD’s client, Buhari.
The prominent daily Nigerian Tribune cites an activist group, Move on Nigeria, complaining that the U.S. is fueling tension in Nigeria and has “continued to publicly magnify every challenge of the Nigerian government.”
The first troubling aspect of the story is its assertion that while Michelle Obama was tweeting #BringBackOurGirls in response to the kidnapping of these 278 young girls, for the most part Christians, her husband was taking several aggressive actions to undermine rescue attempts. The implications of this report are staggering. If valid, it would mean Obama intentionally took initiatives that consigned the fate of almost 300 young Christian schoolgirls to a lifetime of bondage as sex slaves. As a father of two girls, his capacity to do so paints a gruesome picture of the man currently leading our nation. Of course we feel overwhelmingly troubled regarding the plight of these girls and the anguish of their families, but in addition this report leaves us deeply concerned over the jeopardy of our own nation as it is subjected to the extensive powers exercised over it by a person so heartless and devious.
Note that I raised the question of whether this report is valid. It seems to come from a good source, but in addition, it appears to possess validity because it reflects the pattern of other Obama administration objectives and actions.
Currently Nigeria has a Christian President. The above report indicates that the Obama administration has taken these actions to support the Muslim running against the current president by making him appear weak and ineffective.
In previous articles I have underscored a pattern displayed by the Obama administration of undermining existing governments in order to assist in the takeover of those countries by militant Muslim groups. Therefore such activity in Nigeria would reflect this existing pattern, giving it credibility.
Though Nigeria possesses a slight Christian majority, both Boko Haram and aggressive elements of the Muslim population are pushing through brutal methods to take over the country, and succeeding to a significant extent. If the presidency would fall into Muslim hands no doubt this push for Muslim dominance would succeed, and Nigeria would permanently become a Muslim country. Nigeria is Africa’s most populous country and also its largest oil producer. Therefore, placing it under Islamic control would represent a significant boost for the cause of Islam in the world.
Another Obama administration pattern reflected in this article resides in Obama’s aggressive activity to manipulate elections of other countries. We observed the recent attempt to do so in Israeli. Therefore, we have good reason to believe that he would seek to do the same in Nigeria, especially in light of its significance.
The election occurs tomorrow, March 28. It appears that Obama’s actions have proven effective in tilting the election in favor of the Muslim candidate. Pray that God would intervene in order that the Christian majority in Nigeria will be able to stay in power.
